Dental Sterilization Technician/Assistant
Join our friendly and professional dental team in Forest Grove! We’re looking for a dependable, detail-oriented person to help maintain the clean, organized, and safe environment our patients and team depend on. This position is being offered with a Monday to Thursday schedule with optional Friday. Monday 7.30-5pm, Tues, Wed, Thurs 6:30am-4pm and Friday 7:30 to 1pm. Responsibilities
- Clean, disinfect, and sterilize instruments and handpieces according to OSHA and CDC guidelines.
- Maintain the sterilization and instrument flow system efficiently throughout the day.
- Restock operatories and maintain cleanliness in clinical and sterilization areas.
- Monitor and log sterilization processes and spore testing.
- Assist clinical team with setup and breakdown of treatment rooms.
- Support back-office tasks as needed to ensure smooth operations.
- Chairside assisting as needed.
Qualifications
- Previous dental or healthcare sterilization experience.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to infection control standards.
- Reliable, punctual, and team-focused attitude.
- Ability to multitask and stay organized in a busy environment.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
