What are the responsibilities and job description for the Physician Assistant position at Pacific Northwest Urology Specialists?
Highly sought after surgical sub-specialty position for a Physician Assistant in a well-established Urology Clinic/Ambulatory Surgery Center. Working with the supervision of 4 attending physicians/surgeons, the PA will perform a variety of duties in the assessment, work-up and treatment of patients, providing quality urological care to our patients. The PA will serve as a patient liason between the patient and physician when necessary. The PA also functions as a first assistant to the surgeon in the operating room and will perform urological procedures. The PA will be on-call one week a month with a surgeon whom is also on call; also responsible for rounding on hospital in-patients.
Prior urology and surgical experience is recommended; with a special focus on female pelvic health ideal.
Must be a graduate of a Physician Assistant program.
