Job Summary
We are seeking a customer‑focused Assistant Manager to support daily operations at a self‑storage facility. This role works closely with the Storage Manager to deliver excellent customer service, maintain facility standards, and support leasing, collections, and administrative functions. The Assistant Manager serves as the on‑site lead when the Storage Manager is absent.
This position is ideal for someone with strong customer service skills who enjoys a mix of sales, operations, and administrative work.
Duties
· Rent storage units and assist customers with leasing and inquiries
· Deliver excellent customer service in person, by phone, and via email
· Collect rent payments and contact delinquent tenants as needed
· Prepare daily deposits, reports, and petty cash documentation
· Audit daily paperwork and maintain accurate tenant files
· Conduct property inspections and submit maintenance requests
· Maintain a clean, safe, and professional facility environment
· Clean vacant units and ensure the entire facility remains neat and orderly.
Skills
· High school diploma or GED required
· Customer service experience is preferred
· Prior self‑storage or property management experience a plus, but not required
· Strong written and verbal communication skills
· Comfortable using computers and learning new systems
· Reliable, organized, and detail‑oriented
· Ability to work weekends as scheduled
Pay: From $20.00 per hour
