Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Dance Instructor to join our dynamic team. Duties
- Develop and implement engaging dance curricula for students of varying skill levels.
- Teach dance techniques in a clear and effective manner, ensuring students understand the fundamentals.
- Create lesson plans that incorporate elements of childhood development and education principles.
- Provide individualized feedback to students to enhance their skills and confidence.
- Organize and conduct performances or showcases to highlight student progress.
- Maintain a safe and supportive classroom environment conducive to learning.
- Collaborate with other instructors to coordinate class schedules and events.
- Utilize photography skills to document student performances and milestones.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of curriculum development tailored for different age groups.
- Experience working with students in a classroom or studio setting.
- Background in childcare or early childhood education is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in ballet and other dance forms, with the ability to teach various styles.
- Understanding of childhood development principles to effectively engage young learners.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective instruction.
- Ability to motivate and inspire students while fostering a love for dance.
- Photography skills are a plus for capturing class activities and performances.
