Role Description This is a contractor and remote role for a Licensed Professional Counselor, Marriage and Family Therapist, or Clinical Social Worker. The clinician will conduct intake assessments, develop and maintain individualized treatment plans, and provide ongoing psychotherapy to individuals, couples, and families. Day-to-day responsibilities include maintaining a consistent caseload, documenting sessions in a timely and compliant manner, coordinating care with other providers as needed, and following all ethical and legal standards of practice. The role also involves using evidence-based interventions, monitoring client progress toward treatment goals, and participating in case consultation or team meetings as appropriate. Clinicians manage their schedules within agreed-upon parameters, balancing in-person and remote sessions to best meet client needs.
Qualifications
- Current, unrestricted licensure in Idaho as an LPC, LCPC, LMFT, LCSW, or equivalent independent or associate-level clinical license.
- Demonstrated skills in individual, couple, and/or family psychotherapy using evidence-based and trauma-informed approaches.
- Experience conducting clinical assessments, risk evaluations, and creating collaborative, goal-oriented treatment plans.
- Proficiency with electronic health records (EHR), clinical documentation, and maintaining confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA and other regulations.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and boundary-setting skills, with the ability to work respectfully with clients from diverse backgrounds and identities.
- Comfort and competency in providing telehealth services, including managing technology, privacy, and remote engagement with clients.
- Ability to work independently in a contract setting while collaborating effectively with colleagues and referral sources.
- Master’s degree or higher in Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, Social Work, or a closely related behavioral health field from an accredited institution.
- Preferred experience in outpatient mental health or private practice settings, including managing a steady caseload.
- Additional training or experience in specialties such as trauma, anxiety, depression, couples therapy is highly beneficial.
