Why This Role Exists
We’re seeking a highly organized, motivated Clinic Operations Lead to support and coordinate the daily operations of our healthcare clinic. This is an entry-level leadership role designed for someone who wants hands-on exposure to clinic management, healthcare operations, and team leadership—while learning what it truly takes to run a high-performing clinic.
You’ll work closely with clinic leadership to ensure smooth day-to-day operations, support staff performance, and help drive efficiency, compliance, and an excellent patient experience. While your primary assignment will be at the Walnut Creek location, this role involves traveling among our other clinic sites in Vallejo, Modesto, and San Jose to support operations and ensure consistency across locations.
This role offers a meaningful opportunity to grow your skills in healthcare management while making a real impact on how care is delivered.
What You’ll Own
As the Clinic Operations Lead, you’ll help oversee the operational heartbeat of the clinic—connecting people, systems, and processes. You will:
Coordinate daily clinic operations, including scheduling, patient flow, room readiness, and resource utilization
Support and guide front office, administrative, and clinical support staff to ensure smooth workflows
Act as a day-to-day point of contact for staff questions, problem-solving, and guidance
Assist with onboarding, training, and ongoing staff development
Help monitor clinic performance metrics and identify opportunities to improve efficiency and patient experience
Support compliance with HIPAA, safety, and healthcare operational standards
Assist with documentation, SOPs, and workflow optimization initiatives
Participate in weekly leadership meetings and accountability check-ins
Help coordinate vendors, systems, and operational tools (EMR, scheduling software, internal platforms)
You won’t be expected to walk in knowing everything—but you will be expected to take ownership, learn quickly, and follow through.
Operations, Systems & Healthcare Exposure
This role offers exposure to many core components of healthcare operations, including:
EMR/EHR systems and scheduling platforms
Patient flow optimization and administrative workflows
Healthcare compliance and privacy standards
KPI tracking and operational reporting
Process improvement and documentation
Cross-functional communication between clinical, administrative, and leadership teams
You’ll learn how operational decisions impact patient experience, staff performance, and clinic sustainability.
How You’ll Work
We operate using the Entrepreneurial Operating System (EOS), which emphasizes:
Clear priorities and accountability
Data-driven decision-making
Structured meetings and follow-through
Experience with EOS or similar systems is a strong plus—but not required. We value candidates who are naturally organized, coachable, and comfortable working within structured systems.
Who You Are
You’re likely a strong fit if you:
Have some experience leading, coordinating, or supporting a team (formal or informal)
Are early in your career and eager to grow into healthcare operations or management
Enjoy healthcare environments and supporting patient-facing team
Are organized, dependable, and detail-oriented
Communicate clearly and professionally
Prefer being hands-on and working in person
Are motivated to learn how clinics operate at a deeper level
Are comfortable traveling occasionally between clinic locations to support operational needs
Why Candidates Choose This Role
Entry point into healthcare operations and leadership
Real exposure to clinic management—not just administrative tasks
Mentorship and collaboration with experienced leaders
Clear expectations, structure, and accountability
Opportunity to grow as the clinic and organization expand
Next Steps
