Job Summary
The Shipping and Receiving Clerk plays a crucial role in the logistics and supply chain operations of our organization. This position is responsible for managing the flow of goods into and out of our warehouse, ensuring accurate order fulfillment, and maintaining inventory levels. The ideal candidate will have experience in a warehouse or distribution center environment, with a strong focus on efficiency and accuracy.

Shift & Compensation

• $16 to $17.84 depending on the shift.
• We have a shift differential.
• 1st shift : Mon-Fri 7:30a-4:15p $16.00
• 3rd shift : Sun-Thru 7:30p-4:15a $17.84

Responsibilities

• Process incoming shipments by verifying contents against packing lists and purchase orders.
• Prepare outgoing shipments by picking, packing, and labeling products for delivery.
• Utilize equipment such as pallet jacks and reach trucks to move goods within the warehouse.
• Maintain accurate inventory records through regular stock checks and updates in the inventory management system.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure timely order fulfillment and efficient workflow.
• Perform basic math calculations to verify quantities and ensure accuracy in shipping and receiving processes.
• Assist in maintaining a clean and organized work environment within the warehouse.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in shipping, receiving, or warehouse operations is preferred.
• Familiarity with e-commerce order fulfillment processes is a plus.
• Ability to operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and reach trucks safely.
• Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills.
• Basic math skills for inventory management and order verification.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication skills to interact with team members and other departments effectively.
