This is a full-time, on-site role for a Low Voltage Engineer located in Ventura, CA. The Low Voltage Engineer will be responsible for the installation, configuration, and maintenance of low voltage systems, including security surveillance, voice, data, and audio/video networks. The role will also involve troubleshooting technical issues, ensuring systems meet design specifications, and collaborating with team members to execute both routine and advanced installations. As part of this role, the engineer will work closely with clients to understand requirements and deliver optimal solutions.
- Proficiency in low voltage system installation, including security surveillance, voice, and data networks
- Experience with the integration and maintenance of Audio/Video systems
- Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and technical skills
- Understanding of IT and telecommunications systems design and functionality
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical specifications
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to job sites as needed
- Certifications such as BICSI, CompTIA, or equivalent are a plus
- Industry knowledge and experience with Ventura, CA projects are an advantage
