We’re actively seeking a talented Senior Executive Administrative Assistant to join our Corporate Division to support the SVP, Chief Actuary in our Omaha, Nebraska office.

How You’ll Help Move Us Forward

  • Anticipate needs, obstacles, and opportunities and act/plan accordingly.
  • Effectively organize and manage the Chief Actuary’s calendar and meetings using MS Outlook. This includes working with internal and external executive partners
  • Treat and address applicable issues with utmost sensitivity and confidentiality.
  • Serve as a point of contact for all internal and external visitors and interact with them in a professional manner.
  • Prepare correspondence and documents as assigned using demonstrated proficiency in written communication.
  • Make travel arrangements (including international) and prepare expense reports using Concur
  • Assist in development of presentations and written communication for the Chief Actuary
  • Collaborate with internal teams to onboard new employees and interns.
  • Bring a sense of ‘fun’ in a hybrid environment
  • Receive and respond to phone calls and emails in a professional manner
  • Executive meeting minutes and summarization
  • Partner, collaborate and provide back-up support* to other Executive Committee Administrative Assistants.
  • Complete miscellaneous tasks and projects for the Enterprise Chief Actuarial business as assigned.

The Experience You Bring

  • 6 years of administrative experience supporting Senior level executives in a corporate environment.
  • Strong experience with Microsoft Office 365 applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Teams, Outlook, SharePoint), ZOOM and Adobe Acrobat
  • Executive meeting minutes
  • Excellent editing and proofreading skills
  • Approachable, professional, and self-motivated individual with a positive and collaborative attitude. Demonstrates a high level of tact, poise and personal effectiveness
  • Ability to make independent decisions regarding planning, organizing, and scheduling work
  • Excellent organizational skills, ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks, independent thinking, maintaining confidentiality, use of discretion, ability to handle time-sensitive projects and adapt to changes quickly
  • Excellent problem solving and administrative skills to handle a wide variety of complex situations and attention to details
  • Keen attention to detail and uses sound judgment
  • Strong ability to pivot and keep track of multiple tasks
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, ability to work well with all levels of people within the organization
  • Approachable to all team members and handle stressful situations with poise and grace

  • Experience working at a global organization and working with people in international time zones
  • Experience supporting a Senior Leader, Financial Services.
  • Willingness to apply new technology (e.g. AI) to improve processes
  • Experience collaborating effectively across the enterprise with areas like building services, catering, IT, etc.

Base Pay Range

The base pay range noted represents the company’s good faith minimum and maximum range for this role at the time of posting. The actual compensation offered to a candidate will be dependent upon several factors, including but not limited to experience, qualifications and geographic location. Also, most employees are eligible for additional incentive pay.

$35.22 - $43.04
