Role Description
The Director of Permanent Supportive Housing is a full-time, on-site role based in Stamford, CT. The individual in this position will oversee the management and operations of permanent supportive housing programs. Responsibilities include developing and implementing housing programs, supervising residence life, and ensuring compliance with relevant policies and regulations. The Director will work closely with staff, community partners, and residents to promote a safe and supportive housing environment.
Qualifications
- Experience in Program Management and Program Development
- Expertise in Social Housing and Residence Life
- Knowledge of federal, state, and local housing regulations and policies
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders
- Experience in a nonprofit or community-focused environment is a plus
- Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Public Administration, or related field (Master’s degree preferred)
