- Responsible for washing and sanitizing all dishes and kitchen equipment according to established procedures.
- Maintain clean and organized work area at all times, including dishwashing area and kitchen.
- Assist with food preparation, such as chopping, slicing, and measuring ingredients.
- Follow recipes and guidelines for correct portion sizes and presentation of dishes.
- Assist with receiving and storing of food and supplies as needed.
- Adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines.
- Communicate effectively with team members and superiors.
- Take ownership and actively participate in maintaining a safe and clean work environment.
- Assist with other duties as assigned by supervisor and/or Executive Chef.
- Prior experience in a similar role preferred.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation guidelines.
- Ability to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 50 pounds.
- Must be willing to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
- Valid food handler's permit or willingness to obtain one.
