Job Summary: InterContinental The Clement Monterey is seeking a reliable and hardworking individual to fill the role of Dishwasher. This is a full-time, individual contributor position that offers a competitive salary of $22 per hour, paid biweekly. As a Dishwasher, you will play a vital role in ensuring the cleanliness of the kitchen

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for washing and sanitizing all dishes and kitchen equipment according to established procedures.
• Maintain clean and organized work area at all times, including dishwashing area and kitchen.
• Assist with food preparation, such as chopping, slicing, and measuring ingredients.
• Follow recipes and guidelines for correct portion sizes and presentation of dishes.
• Assist with receiving and storing of food and supplies as needed.
• Adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines.
• Communicate effectively with team members and superiors.
• Take ownership and actively participate in maintaining a safe and clean work environment.
• Assist with other duties as assigned by supervisor and/or Executive Chef.
  
  
  

Requirements:

• Prior experience in a similar role preferred.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.
• Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation guidelines.
• Ability to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Must be willing to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
• Valid food handler's permit or willingness to obtain one.
