What are the responsibilities and job description for the Fireplace Technician position at Pacific Hearth & Home Inc.?
Pacific Hearth & Home in Rancho Cordova is offering full-time, year round fireplace technician. We are a general contractor and design center specializing in fireplace replacement. We are currently seeking a technician to join our team! Responsibilities include:
- Must be able to listen to customer concerns and issues with gas/wood/electric fireplace. Use necessary tools and knowledge to diagnose and repair issue.
- Follow safety manners stated in owners manuals & company safety procedure
- New construction/remodel fireplace start up.
- Commutate with production manger/foreman on status of service
Requirements:
- Must have minimum of 5 years experience as appliance technician
- High School Diploma or GED
- Valid California Driver’s License
- Experience using hand and power tools
- Basic construction knowledge
- Be able to lift up to 150 lbs
- Must be punctual/responsible
- Experience in construction
- Basic math skills
- Good communication skills
- Able to work well with others
Qualified candidates will possess:

- Reliable; able to work both independently and in a team atmosphere
- Excellent verbal and communication skills while working with customers and coworkers
- Work experience in home improvement or closely related field
Compensation/Benefits:
· $27.00 - $35.00 per hour based on experience
