Job Summary
Under the supervision of the school principal, the Educational Specialist - is responsible for the management of a special education caseload at multiple school sites. The Educational Specialist assesses students, creates Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), and ensures the legally compliant implementation of services. The Education Specialist provides specialized academic instruction, supports students with disabilities in accessing the general education curriculum, and collaborates with staff and families to ensure student success in accordance with students' Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university Master’s Degree in Special Education from an accredited college or university highly desired CLAD authorization or English Learner certification Valid California Education Specialist Instruction Credential (Extensive Support Needs) highly desired Valid CA Driver’s License
