JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Perform complete inspection and refurbishment of pre-owned golf carts to include (but not limited to); replacement of cowl/body/roof, installation of a large variety of accessories, custom wheels/tires.
- Assemble new golf carts for stock/fleet/retail sold and install any requested accessories.
- Cleaning and detailing units prior to sale.
- Perform thorough pre-delivery inspections to ensure quality.
- Point person for keeping track of the fleet set up process.
- Diagnose and repair all makes and models of golf carts as well as turf equipment such as mowers, utility vehicles, and small engine equipment.
- Assist other technicians, as needed.
- Write service reports that accurately reflect work performed and parts used.
- Maintain all equipment and ensure tools are in good working condition.
- Maintain general housekeeping duties in shop and property maintenance.
- Work with the Service Manager to ensure consistent workflow.
- Help maintain and support safety policies.
- Ability to read, write and communicate with co-workers and managers.
- Other duties as assigned by management.
- Minimum of 3 years of technician experience (automotive, small engine, or turf equipment) or verifiable technical training required.
- Experience with golf course or turf equipment (mowers, utility equipment, small engines, hydraulics) is strongly preferred.
- Familiarity with electrical systems, diagnostics, and small engine repair.
- Basic set of tools required.
- Ability to perform physical labor, including routinely lifting up to 50 lbs; position requires lifting, carrying, pushing, bending, twisting, and pulling daily.
- Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and ability to be insured.
- Position is contingent on passing a pre-employment drug screen.
