The Security Operations Center (SOC) Program Operator is a full-time, on-site role based in Vacaville, CA. This role involves monitoring and managing PG&E’s Security Operations Center systems to ensure the safety and security of company assets and personnel. Responsibilities include managing real-time security and emergency incidents, implementing security protocols, providing detailed documentation of events, and collaborating with internal and external partners to ensure effective incident analysis and resolution. The SOC Program Operator will also support the development and refinement of operational procedures and policies to maintain compliance and promote organizational security objectives.
- Knowledge of security monitoring tools, emergency response protocols, and incident management
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across departments and external stakeholders
- Proficiency in software systems used for security operations and data interpretation
- Experience in assessing risks, troubleshooting incidents, and documenting findings accurately
- Proven ability to work effectively in high-pressure and fast-paced environments
- Prior experience in security operations, emergency response, or a related field is preferred
- Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice, Security Management, Information Technology, or a related field is a plus
