Responsibilities:
- Oversee all accounting operations, ensuring accuracy and compliance in general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and cash management.
- Lead the month-end close process, delivering timely and precise financial reporting packages to stakeholders.
- Maintain robust internal controls to ensure compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley and U.S. Government standards.
- Manage cost accounting processes and inventory reconciliations, collaborating with operations to resolve discrepancies effectively.
- Ensure proper revenue recognition in accordance with ASC606, working closely with program teams on contract performance obligations.
- Direct internal and external audits, supporting regulatory requirements and enhancing audit readiness.
- Drive process improvements and ERP system enhancements to optimize accounting operations.
Qualifications:
Must-Have:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or CMA preferred.
- 8–10 years of progressive accounting experience, including a minimum of 3 years in a leadership role.
- Deep knowledge of U.S. GAAP, ASC606, SOX, and government accounting standards.
- Experience managing month-end close and audits in multi-entity environments.
- Proven ability to lead and develop high-performing teams.
- Strong analytical and communication skills to convey complex financial concepts clearly.
- Ability to work extended hours during critical deadlines and travel up to 10% as needed.
Nice-to-Have:
- Experience with ERP systems such as SAP or NetSuite.
- Familiarity with acquisition integration and advanced financial modeling techniques.
Salary : $150,000 - $200,500
