Schedule: 2 weeks per month
Shift: Monday-Friday from 8a-5p and Call coverage from 7a-7a
Scope: Clinic + daily rounding at nursery and call, returning to hospital if needed for standby at delivery for any issues.
Required Procedures: Intubations, IV insertions, able to perform needle decompression or thoracostomy, neonatal sepsis, management of neonatal asphyxia, management of acute heart failure, hemolytic disease of newborn, attend C-section.
Volume: avg in clinic: 20 patients,about 1-3 per day in hospital (Avg ~450 annual deliveries)
EMR:  Currently Cerner but will be transitioning to Epic in March 2027
Hospital: Level III Trauma Center
Group/support: MCU nurses, RT, House supervisor
Requirements (boards, license): Board Certified, NM license, ACLS, BLS, PALS, and NRP
