Pacific Companies is currently seeking a Senior Risk Management Specialist to join our growing Risk Management team in Dallas, TX! The ideal candidate for this role must be a great communicator, proactive, adaptable, able to pivot when necessary, and juggle multiple diverse responsibilities with a strong emphasis on organization and an unwavering attention to detail. The ideal candidate must have at least 3 years of credentialing experience and must be able to work independently under pressure, have a sense of urgency, and be driven to get the job done while anticipating needs and keeping the operations of the team moving smoothly. Job Responsibilities
- Verifying all documents and employment history for clinicians
- Submit background checks and drug screenings through HireRight for locum tenens clinicians
- Follow up with clinicians and relevant clients on required paperwork to obtain privileges
- Attend weekly calls with alternating departments and provide a status update on files in process
- Follow up with recruiters on needed information to ensure a smooth credentialing and onboarding process
- Utilize advanced problem-solving skills to resolve issues and conflicts that may arise
- Communicate with in-house credentialing, recruiting, and human resource departments
- Ensure a high degree of customer service to our clients as well as the clinicians to ensure both parties have a pleasant experience
- Confirm clinicians are up to date with medical licenses and board exams as required by the client
- Prepare and maintain accurate records such as reports, forms, and correspondence
