Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounting Clerk to join our finance team. Duties
- Maintain and update financial records, ensuring accuracy and compliance with established standards.
- Perform double entry bookkeeping to track all financial transactions.
- Prepare and post journal entries to the general ledger.
- Assist with credit analysis and ensure timely processing of accounts payable and receivable.
- Utilize financial software, including Quickbooks, to manage data efficiently.
- Conduct regular reconciliations of bank statements and other financial documents.
- Support month-end close processes by compiling necessary reports and documentation.
- Collaborate with team members to streamline accounting processes and improve efficiency.
Experience
- Proficiency in Quickbooks online is essential;
- Strong financial acumen with a solid understanding of general ledger accounting principles.
- Familiarity with debits and credits, as well as journal entries, is required.
- Previous experience in an accounting role or related field is preferred but not mandatory.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills are necessary for success in this position.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
