What are the responsibilities and job description for the Licensed Clinical Psychologist position at PACIFIC COAST PSYCHOLOGY GROUP, INC.?
What we're looking for
We're looking for a compassionate, skilled psychologist who thrives in a medical setting and genuinely cares about the geriatric population. Our patients present with a wide range of conditions — depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, adjustment disorders — often alongside complex medical co-morbidities like diabetes, stroke, or cancer.
You're a great fit if you:
- Want full schedule flexibility — 4- or 5-day weeks, set your own hours
- Prefer working in a collaborative, interdisciplinary medical setting
- Want to focus entirely on patient care, not paperwork or billing
- Value quality of care over case volume
What you'll be doing
- Conducting psychological evaluations, diagnosis, and evidence-based psychotherapy with residents in skilled nursing facilities
- Writing clinical reports, treatment plans, and progress notes within 24 hours of each session
- Partnering with an interdisciplinary care team to support whole-person patient outcomes
- Attending a monthly all-staff meeting
- Practicing within ethical and professional standards of care
Want to see more patients? We offer a monthly performance bonus for clinicians who go beyond their base caseload. Ask us how it works.
What you'll bring
- Active California license as a psychologist
- Doctoral degree in psychology (PhD or PsyD)
- Ability to pass a thorough background check
- Basic computer competency for documentation
Note: We are not currently able to hire MFTs or LCSWs for this role.
Perks & Benefits
- Medical, Dental & Vision coverage
- FSA & HSA options
- 401k with up to 4% company match
- $5/month cell phone stipend
- 15 days PTO annually (plus paid holidays!)
- Supportive team, kind culture, and plenty of laughs
