Position Summary
At PCCI, the Data Scientist plays a critical role in driving innovation and improving business outcomes through advanced analytics and AI-driven solutions. This position partners closely with business stakeholders and leadership to influence strategic decisions and deliver insights that shape organizational direction. The ideal candidate combines technical expertise with business acumen to design and implement AI solutions - build AI agents and predictive models, optimize and automate processes, and enable data-driven innovation across the enterprise.
The Data Scientist is responsible for collecting, analyzing, and interpreting large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and actionable insights that drive business decisions.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop AI Solutions (AI agents, predictive, prescriptive, etc) using available software, machine learning and statistical techniques to improve customer outcomes.
- Collect, clean, and aggregate structured and unstructured data.
- Apply statistical, machine learning, and analytical techniques to develop predictive models and optimize business processes.
- Support the development of data pipelines, ETL processes, and data architectures for advanced analytics.
- Collaborate with senior leaders and cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for data-driven transformation and align AI solutions with strategic goals.
- Develop dashboards and visualizations using tools like Power BI.
- Ensure data quality, governance, and compliance with organizational standards.
- Stay current with emerging technologies and best practices in AI.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or related field.
- Proven experience in predictive modeling, machine learning, and advanced analytics.
- Strong proficiency in programming languages (Python, R, SQL).
- Proficiency in the use of GenAI development tools like MS Copilot.
- Experienced in prompt engineering and developing natural language solutions.
- Experience with data platforms, data modeling, and visualization tools.
- Knowledge of machine learning algorithms, predictive analytics, and statistical modeling.
- Excellent communication skills for presenting insights to executive stakeholders.
- Familiarity with ETL processes and data architecture principles.
Preferred Skills
- Master’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or related field.
- Experience in cloud-based analytics environments
- Experience with AI/ML deployment and API integration.
