Quality Control Inspector
An established Central Valley nut processing company is seeking to fill a Quality Control Inspector position.
THE OPPORTUNITY:
- You will be responsible for inspecting and testing raw, in-process, and finished products to ensure they meet regulatory and company standards; working alone or in teams under minimal supervision of site leadership
- Maintain a safe and productive environment
- Consistently sampling production lines and communicating findings to machine operators to ensure product quality is being met

- Independent decision maker as needed to accomplish tasks
- Multitasking individual to accomplish tasks as assigned
- Lift and carry a maximum of 50 pounds repeatedly throughout shift
- Keep Site Supervisor(s) informed regarding conditions of the worksite, accomplishments, and concerns; contributes suggestions for improvements
- Strong organization and prioritizing skills
- Ability to keep work area clean and neat
- Sit, stand, and walk for long periods in warehouse environment (concrete flooring and changing temperatures)
SHIFT:
Swing: Monday - Thursday: 3:30 PM – 2:00 AM
REQUIREMENTS:
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Work experience in an agricultural environment preferred
- Ability to work outdoors
- Prior experience with Tree Nuts PREFERRED (Almonds, Pistachios, Walnuts, etc.)
- Bi-Lingual English and Spanish preferred
Job Type: Full-time
