Summary:
The Vice President (VP) serves as a strategic business partner and key member of the Executive Leadership Team, responsible for driving strategic, operational, and financial performance across all areas of the organization. This role provides visionary leadership to promote sustainable growth, operational excellence, regulatory and food safety compliance, and strong, collaborative partnerships with clients and stakeholders.
The VP leads with a hands-on, results-oriented approach—aligning people, processes, and systems to deliver exceptional quality, efficiency, and profitability while upholding the company’s mission, culture, and core values.
Essential Job Responsibilities:
- Partner with CEO, President/CFO, and Executive team to develop and execute long-term business strategies that strengthen market position and profitability.
- Present financial performance, forecasts, and strategic insights to the Board of Directors and investors to support transparency and confidence in financial stewardship.
- Lead strategic planning initiatives related to production capacity, customer diversification, and partnerships.
- Identify new business opportunities and partnerships that expand operational capacities or enhance margin performance.
- Develop long-range financial plans and scenario models to guide corporate strategy and resource allocation.
- Oversee end-to-end manufacturing operations including Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Quality Assurance, Maintenance, Accounting and Finance, Human Resources, Payroll, and Safety. skills, including P&L ownership experience.
- Ensure manufacturing performance meets or exceeds productivity, cost, and service objectives through continuous improvement and lean manufacturing principles.
- Champion the integration and optimization of financial and operational systems (e.g., NetSuite, RedZone) to enhance data accuracy, reporting efficiency, and business intelligence.
- Drive adherence to all FDA, USDA, and OSHA standards, ensuring compliance and audit readiness at all times.
- Develop and manage annual budgets, forecasts, and capital expenditure plans aligned with company objectives.
- Monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) related to efficiency, yield, labor utilization, and waste reduction.
- Partner with Finance to ensure accurate cost accounting, pricing models, and margin analysis for all product lines and co-packaging agreements.
- Build, mentor, and develop a high-performing leadership team across departments.
- Promote accountability, collaboration, and continuous learning throughout the organization.
- Establish clear performance metrics and succession plans for key leadership positions.
- Foster a culture of safety, respect, inclusion, and operational discipline.
- Serve as the primary executive liaison for key customers and co-packaging clients.
- Ensure contract fulfillment, product quality, and service performance meet or exceed client expectations.
- Collaborate with Sales, R&D, and Quality teams to support innovation, product launches, and new packaging initiatives.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Food Science, Engineering, or related field; Master of Business Administration is highly preferred but not required.
- Minimum of 15-20 years of progressive leadership experience in food manufacturing or co-packing, with at least 10 years in a senior executive capacity.
- Proven success managing P&L responsibility and leadership multi-facility operations.
- Proven track record of leading large-scale production operations delivering cost and efficiency improvements and maintain food safety and regulatory compliance.
- Demonstrated expertise in lean manufacturing, operational systems integration such as NetSuite and RedZone, and performance management.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and change-management skills with the ability to inspire and align diverse teams.
- Strong financial acumen and analytical skills, including P&L ownership experience.

Pay: $150,000.00 - $180,000.00 per year
