We're currently hiring an Administrative Clerk 1 for 1st shift starting at 7:00am Monday-Friday (occasional overtime).

SCOPE OF RESPONSIBILITY:
Will Provides administrative and purchasing support, while assisting with company processes such as training session setup, orientation preparation, and visitor coordination. Manages front desk responsibilities, supports supply ordering, and assists with data reporting and documentation across departments.


DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Answer front desk phones, greet and track visitors and temporary employees, manage door access per Defense plan.
  • Work with vendors to obtain quotes and pricing; generate purchase requisitions (PRs) and follow up on PO conversions.
  • Place purchase orders with approved vendors, receive PO’s, and ensure documentation is submitted to Finance
  • Maintain records of purchases and vendor files.
  • Generate and distribute monthly safety reports, troubleshoot reporting issues, and ensure timely distribution until completion.
  • Maintain training systems, including user setup and archiving
  • Coordinate room setup and lunches for visitors, customers, auditor visits, or other events assigned.
  • Provide support on the first day by preparing materials, conducting orientation, and leading facility tours.
  • Order and maintain inventory of office and breakroom supplies
  • Update postings and signs throughout the facility, both physically and virtually via RedZone.
  • Assist with general projects and provide administrative support.
  • Attend department and company required training session,
  • Perform other duties as assigned


KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:

Solid knowledge of MS Outlook, Word, and Excel, ability to learn both Navision and PMC. Demonstrated ability to successfully use budgeting techniques. Ability to successfully contribute and participate as an important part of the maintenance team/SQF team. Knowledge in parts and Inventory Control System, Purchasing and Basic Accounting practices


Education and Experience Requirements:

High school diploma or GED preferred. 1-2 years related experience.


PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORKING CONDITIONS:

Work is normally performed in a typical interior/office work environment, with occasional activity performed in a warehouse type atmosphere where the temperature is approximately 32 degrees. Requires the ability to stand, walk, climb stairs and occasionally lift and/or move up to 30lbs. Requires sitting, operating a computer keyboard, telephone and other equipment for extended periods of time.
