Are you passionate about aviation….WE ARE! Pacific Aviation NW is seeking motivated A&P or A&PIA Mechanics to join our growing maintenance department in Southern Oregon. We are looking for individuals who enjoy working on a variety of aircraft. This position is a great opportunity to gain knowledge and improve your skills while working as part of a team. Pay based on level of experience.
Skills and Abilities:
- Strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills.
- Good communication skills.
- Able to service, repair, and inspect aircraft and aircraft engines to ensure airworthiness in accordance with applicable FAA regulations and manufacturer's instructions.
- Aircraft and aircraft, repair, disassemble, assemble, and general maintenance.
- Reads and interprets manufacturer's maintenance manuals, service bulletins, and other specifications to determine feasibility and method of repairing or replacing malfunctioning or damaged components.
- Operates all tools and equipment necessary to accomplish job assignments.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Performs other duties as needed.
Requirements:
- FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) license OR Airframe and Powerplant with Inspection Authorization endorsement (A&PIA) license REQUIRED
- Complies with all Company policies and standard operating procedures, including passing a background check and drug screening program.
- Good problem-solving skills and willingness to learn.
- Able to work in a team environment with a great attitude and motivation to help any person on the team.
- Perform disassembly, cleaning, inspection, repair, maintenance, and assembly of aircraft and aircraft parts and components.
- Accurately completes all required maintenance records.
- Computer literate.
- Familiar with single engine piston, turbo prop, and light jet aircraft.
- Occasional overtime, when necessary.
