POSITION SUMMARY:
The Shipping & Receiving – Warehouse Associate supports the flow of materials throughout the facility by managing incoming and outgoing shipments, maintaining accurate inventory, and collaborating with both production and customer service teams. This role requires a reliable, self-motivated team player with strong attention to detail, consistency in quality, and adherence to all company and regulatory requirements.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Process all domestic and international shipments, including receiving, inspecting, and verifying incoming goods and materials.
- Prepare outgoing orders by reviewing supply orders, pulling materials, packing shipments, and staging items for pick-up or delivery.
- Track, coordinate, and document the receipt of goods to ensure proper handling, storage, and traceability.
- Safely operate warehouse equipment including forklifts and pallet jacks.
- Maintain compliance with all internal processes as well as external regulations, including shipping, hazardous material, and export compliance requirements.
- Keep work areas, shelving, pallet zones, and shipping supply areas clean, organized, and compliant with safety and 5S standards.
- Perform routine inventory counts and support inventory accuracy initiatives.
- Partner with team members to support departmental goals and contribute to the overall success of the organization.
- Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
· High school diploma or equivalent required.
· Minimum 2 years of shipping/receiving experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment.
· Proficiency with computers, Microsoft Office, data entry, and familiarity with ERP systems (Pentagon experience preferred).
· Knowledge of import/export laws, international shipping documentation, or customs processes is highly desirable.
· Ability to stand for extended periods and regularly lift, carry, or move up to 70 lbs.
· Strong reliability, punctuality, and commitment to quality.
· Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and communication skills (written and verbal).

- Work performed in both office and manufacturing/warehouse settings. Production areas may include exposure to odors, dust, temperature fluctuations, and chemicals.
- Food and drink are restricted in designated chemical/production areas.

SAFETY-SENSITIVE DESIGNATION & DRUG TESTING REQUIREMENTS
This position is classified as safety-sensitive, meaning performance of job duties impacts the safety of the employee, coworkers, and the organization. Safety-sensitive functions include but are not limited to operating forklifts, pallet jacks, handling heavy materials, and navigating warehouse equipment and pathways.
Employees in safety-sensitive positions are subject to:
- Pre-employment drug testing (required for hire).
- Post-accident/incident drug testing in accordance with company policy.
- Reasonable suspicion drug testing when allowable under state and federal law.
This role operates within a drug-free workplace in compliance with company policy, FAA implications (if applicable), and Washington State allowances for safety-sensitive classifications.
$25-$30 per hour
Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
