We are seeking a dynamic part-time STEM College Admissions Counselor to help our students navigate the college planning process, with a focus on Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math pathways. This role requires a positive, confident, and energetic individual whose contribution will be pivotal to the success of our College Counseling Program. Job Description As a STEM College Admissions Counselor, your main duties include guiding students through the college application process and academic planning. Your expertise will directly support students pursuing a Bachelor's Degree or higher in related fields like Biology, Chemistry, Engineering, or Math, making a meaningful difference in their academic journeys. Expected qualifications, knowledge, skills, and experience include: Bachelor's Degree or higher in a related field (Biology, Chemistry, Engineering, Math, etc.) Have previous counseling experience with MS/HS Students and STEM Be fluent in English, including great writing skills Have a patient and friendly demeanor Help students create multi-year academic plans for high school, including STEM-appropriate courses. Help identify and suggest extracurricular activities (for the school year and summer) Ensure all prerequisites are met Help identify universities with strong STEM programs. Help explain the differences between STEM majors. Guide students towards research, internships, competitions, Olympiads, and science fairs. Create time management and study plans for students Work with students to apply to colleges (Form completion, essay brainstorming, and revising) Support students with STE
