What are the responsibilities and job description for the Mobile Technician position at Pacer Group?
Job Title: Mobile Technician
Location: Seattle, WA
Shift: M-F 8am - 4:30pm
Duration: 5 Months (Potential to convert to FTE)
Overview of Work Environment/Client Nuances:
- Candidate will be traveling between 15-18 sites based on the work orders that come through. Candidate will be outfitted with a company van, company approved tools, gas card, cell phone and iPad.
- The candidate will be interacting with clients at the various sites, so will need to have good customer service skills.
Team Overview:
- Each worker will be working 100% independently based on the work orders that come through.
Resource's typical working day:
- iPad will show their work orders for the day
- Pick up any needed parts from the warehouse
- Examples of typical work
- Fixing doors
- Basic plumbing
- General maintenance
- PM's
Licenses/Certifications:
- 06a Electrician License not required but is a plus
- HVAC license not required but is a plus
Must Have Skills:
- Good customer service skills
- Basic mechanical skills
- Basic knowledge of maintenance and mechanical
- Good working knowledge of HVAC
- Good working knowledge of tools
Nice to have skills:
- Electric knowledge
- Plumbing knowledge
Years of Experience:
- 1-2 years
Education
- h.s. diploma or GED
Software skills:
- Basic computer and tablet skills
- Basic Microsoft skills
Salary : $28 - $30
