Position Overview:
A growing litigation practice is seeking a Civil & Commercial Litigation Associate to join its team in Las Vegas. The role involves handling a broad range of complex litigation matters with significant responsibility from early stages through resolution.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage all phases of civil and commercial litigation matters
- Draft pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and legal briefs
- Conduct depositions and assist in witness preparation
- Handle court appearances, hearings, and case management conferences
- Manage written discovery and e-discovery processes
- Work directly with clients, experts, and opposing counsel
- Support trial preparation and assist at trial as needed
- Ideal Candidate Profile
- 1–7 years of civil and/or commercial litigation experience
- Strong legal writing, research, and motion practice skills
- Deposition and court experience preferred
- Ability to manage multiple cases independently with supervision
- Active Nevada Bar membership (or eligibility to obtain)
- Experience in insurance defense, business litigation, or general liability is a plus
