This position works closely with Portfolio Management, Compliance, Legal, Finance, Marketing, and other internal and external stakeholders, as well as U.S. and international service providers. The successful candidate will have approximately three or more years of financial services experience and an interest in developing broad expertise across fund operations, product launches, governance reporting, service-provider oversight, investment analytics, and operational controls.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the daily operations of ETFs, UCITS funds, separately managed accounts, and other investment products.
  • Coordinate operational activities with fund administrators, custodians, fund accountants, transfer agents, authorized participants, market makers, index providers, exchanges, and other service providers.
  • Investigate discrepancies and operational issues, coordinate resolution, and escalate material or recurring matters as appropriate.
  • Assist with the preparation and coordination of quarterly and annual Board and governance reporting for U.S. registered investment companies, including ETFs, and UCITS funds.
  • Prepare and validate information related to fund operations, performance, tracking error, brokerage activity, soft-dollar arrangements, service-provider oversight, operational incidents, and new product developments.
  • Support new fund launches and other product events by maintaining project plans, coordinating service providers, tracking deliverables, assisting with systems setup and testing, and participating in operational readiness reviews.
  • Assist with brokerage, commission, best-execution, research, and soft-dollar reporting.
  • Partner with Compliance to support regulatory filings, audits, examinations, compliance monitoring, regulatory requests, and operational control reviews.
  • Develop and maintain procedures, process documentation, control checklists, and escalation protocols.
  • Identify opportunities to improve workflows, automate manual processes, strengthen controls, and enhance data quality.

Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, business administration, or a related field, or equivalent relevant industry experience.
  • Three or more years of experience in financial services, preferably in asset management, ETF operations, fund administration, fund accounting, custody, investment operations, or a related area.
  • Familiarity with investment products, including ETFs, mutual funds, UCITS funds, separately managed accounts, equities, and fixed-income securities.
  • Strong analytical, reconciliation, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple assignments and meet firm deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to identify, investigate, and resolve data discrepancies.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across departments and with external service providers.
  • Sound professional judgment, accountability, and discretion when handling confidential information.

Preferred

  • Experience supporting ETFs or other registered investment companies subject to the Investment Company Act of 1940.
  • Experience supporting UCITS funds or working with international service providers.
  • Experience preparing or coordinating Board, trustee, or fund-governance materials.
  • Experience supporting fund launches, reorganizations, liquidations, index changes, or similar product events.
  • Experience preparing brokerage, commission, best-execution, or soft-dollar reports.
  • Working knowledge of Bloomberg and order management, execution management, portfolio accounting, reconciliation, or performance-measurement systems.
  • Experience with Power BI, Power Automate, SharePoint, project-management tools, or other data and workflow technologies is a plus.
  • FINRA licenses or relevant industry credentials are helpful but not required.
