What are the responsibilities and job description for the Roller / Packer- 3rd Shift Manufacturing position at Paceline Inc?
Roller and Packer team members are responsible for basic operation of the rolling tables and completion of the rolling process for more complex finished materials at Paceline. This position is designed to promote the quality and production standards set by Paceline, providing consistent attention to detail and promoting a safe work environment.
Daily Responsibilities:

- Reads and interprets daily production travelers.
- Confirms correct material has been picked in accordance with the production travelers.
- Performs basic operation of the rolling table:
- Loading Greige good rolls
- Visual quality inspection on the light table
- Rolling of goods to specified lengths in accordance with production travelers
- Final visual inspection, preparation and cleaning before packing
- Tracks completed rolls on daily production tracker
- Records daily work totals in JobBoss, Pacelines ERP system
- Maintain an average of at least 5 rolls in operation for 2-4 material
- Maintain an average of at least 4 rolls in operation for 5-6 material
- Maintain an average of at least 3 rolls in operation for 1 and 8-9 material
- Maintain an average of at least 2 rolls in operation for 10-14 material
- Maintain a clean work environment
- Blow off Rolling tables
- Sweep the production floor
- Empty trash bins
- Organize extra material to maximize operational space
- Execute shift transition
- Packing Duties:
- Carefully inspect products for quality, accuracy, and any signs of damage before packing.
- Select appropriate packaging materials to ensure items are secure during transit.
- Accurately label and seal packages for shipment, following company and carrier guidelines.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe packing station.
- Collaborate with warehouse and shipping teams to meet daily order fulfillment goals.
- Use handheld scanners or inventory systems to track packed orders.
Roller team members are authorized for training to produce all material sizes that flow through Rolling.
