Specialist to help support children and families throughout our
community. This position plays a vital role in connecting families with
child care resources, early education opportunities, and community
Support Services. Qualifications Qualified Candidates Should Possess The
following: ? Associate?s or Bachelor?s degree in Early Childhood
Education strongly preferred. ? Bilingual in Spanish required. ? Minimum
of one year of experience in an early education and care setting or a
related human services field. ? Interest in working with low-income and
bicultural families. ? Ability to manage multiple projects, meet
deadlines, and work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Position
Summary The Parent Specialist provides consumer education, child care
information, and referral services to TAFDC recipients and
income-eligible families. The successful candidate will work closely
with parents to help them access quality child care and other resources
that support family stability and child development. About the Program
PACE, Inc. is a nonprofit organization located in the heart of New
Bedford. Through its Child Care Works program, PACE helps bridge the gap
between families, child care providers, and early literacy resources.
