The Job Developer is a key connector between YouthBuild New Bedford,
PACE READY, and the broader employer community. This role focuses
heavily on cultivating, strengthening, and expanding partnerships that
create high-quality internship placements and post-graduation employment
opportunities for our graduates. The Job Developer maintains strong
relationships with existing YouthBuild employer partners while actively
identifying and securing new partnerships that align with program goals
and industry needs. QUALIFICATIONS: Associate?s degree required;
Bachelor?s degree preferred 5 years of experience working with
vulnerable or underserved populations Experience designing and
facilitating work readiness or workforce development workshops Ability
to engage participants and inspire personal and professional growth
Strong relationship-building skills with employers, partners, and
community stakeholders Knowledge of local community resources and
services Excellent organizational, communication, and documentation
skills Background check will be required. In collaboration with the
administrative team, the Job Developer helps design and deliver
Employment Success Training workshops that prepare participants for the
world of work. The ideal candidate can teach coursework in an engaging,
dynamic, and thought-provoking manner that supports skill development
and career readiness. During the internship phase of YouthBuild
programming, the Job Developer provides ongoing support to both members
and internship supervisors to ensure a positive, productive experience.
The role also works closely with the YouthBuild and READY teams to
promote participant success throughout the program and during intensive
follow-up after graduation. The successful candidate will demonstrate
the ability to engage youth, adults, and community partners with
professionalism and positivity, modeling high standards through
attitude, behavior, communication, and appearance. SALARY: \$20 - \$24
per hour, 40 hours per week; 52 weeks per year - dependent upon funding.
