You’ll play a key part in supporting HR compliance projects, starting with a large-scale I-9 audit following multiple healthcare acquisitions. This involves reviewing thousands of employee I-9 forms, identifying missing information, and connecting with employees to resolve issues via Microsoft Teams meetings. Once resolved, you’ll help organize and store files within the company’s online filing system.
This role is fast-paced and detail-oriented—perfect for someone who thrives in high-volume work, enjoys follow-up and tracking, and is confident communicating with employees both on camera and in writing.
Key Responsibilities
- Review and update Form I-9 documentation for compliance.
- Reach out to employees via Teams and email to gather missing documentation.
- Conduct virtual meetings with employees to verify and correct I-9 information.
- Maintain accurate records, logs, and compliance reports.
- Organize and manage electronic employee files.
- Collaborate with HR team members and leadership to ensure compliance standards are met.
Qualifications:
- Experience: 1–3 years in HR, compliance, or onboarding preferred. Healthcare or regulated industry experience a plus.
- Education: Associate’s degree in HR, Business, or related field preferred (or equivalent experience).
- Skills & Knowledge:
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent organization and follow-through.
- Comfortable on video (Teams) and email communication.
- Ability to manage confidential information with discretion.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite; Workday experience a plus.
