Owner/Operator - Delivery Driver - Box Truck

Pace is seeking an Owner/Operator/Independent Contractor Delivery Driver with a Box Truck in our Ladson, SC market for consistent medical work. Join Pace's carrier network and grow your business with consistent, dedicated routes!

As a Box Truck Delivery Driver in Pace's Preferred Carrier Network, you will make deliveries on a multi-stop route in and around the Ladson market. These deliveries take place Monday through Friday generally picking up between 5:00am-9:00am and running until completed. A typical delivery will include loading/unloading freight, delivery scanning, app usage to update your delivery statuses in real time, and getting your paperwork signed. Having excellent customer service and maintaining a high degree of safety and professionalism is a must as most of the deliveries are taking place at patient's homes or at medical facilities. You will be required to complete our HIPAA training prior to being dispatched with any freight.

Key Responsibilities for Box Truck Drivers:

• Load freight from warehouse and deliver to designated locations
• Scanning in each carton is required at delivery.
• Operate a pallet jack and/or dolly to load/unload the freight.
• Use Pace delivery app to track and document all deliveries.
• Exceed customer delivery requirements and specifications.
• Represent Pace in a professional and courteous manner.
• Be presentable and provide excellent customer service to customers.

What does it take to drive with Pace?

• Have your own working 24' - 26' Box Truck with Lift Gate.
• Meet insurance requirements - $1 million CGL, $1 million auto liability, $100,000 motor cargo
• Must meet MVR, background, and drug screening requirements.
• Drivers must be 21 or older.
• Must have active operating authority with the FMCSA
