Job Summary
The Maintenance Coordinator position is responsible for performing general facility upkeep and repairs per manufacturer’s recommendations. The Maintenance Coordinator also conducts inspections and the timely scheduling of preventative maintenance (PM) for building systems to include but not limited to HVAC, electrical, plumbing, etc. The Maintenance Coordinator also assists with and engages with staff regarding the importance of safety protocols associated with the Emergency Management Program Plan. The Maintenance Coordinator also adheres to health and safety regulations.
Key responsibilities include responding to maintenance requests, maintaining equipment to include but not limited to lift chairs, electric beds, and conducting safety checks, and ensuring the proper disposal of waste. The position is also responsible for monitoring work conditions to ensure that all activities are compliant with local, state, and federal safety regulations.
