At Pace Industries, we’re shaping the future of die casting and engineered solutions, and we’re looking for an Assembly Operations Program Manager to lead a key product line from concept through delivery while developing people and processes along the way. The Work (A Day in the Life) You begin with a walk-through and daily 5S audit, ensuring a safe, organized floor. You check ERP dashboards, review open orders and forecasts, and assign work to align capacity with demand. In production meetings, you report on project status, known downtime, and quality actions, then head to the line to supervise end-to-end assembly, quality checks, and takt adherence. Throughout the day, you coordinate with Customer Service, Production Control, and the Paint Shop to remove roadblocks. You design or refine assembly methods for new launches, lead continuous improvement to raise safety, productivity, quality, and uptime, and coach associates—conducting performance reviews, addressing gaps, and creating growth plans. You close the day by validating schedule attainment and preparing tomorrow’s plan. Impact You’ll Own Program management for a flagship product line, ensuring cost, quality, and schedule targets are met.Ownership of the full assembly process—from launch through steady state.Oversight of production quality and collaboration with cross-functional partners (Customer Service, Production Control, Paint Shop).Design and development of new assembly operations; optimization of existing processes for efficiency and quality.Workforce leadership: time and attendance management, cross-training, and building a flexible team.Performance analysis with data-driven continuous improvement to exceed safety, productivity, quality, and uptime goals.Daily 5S audits to sustain a safe, high-performing workplace.Talent development through structured performance reviews and targeted development plans. What You Bring Bachelor’s degree preferred.3 years of leadership experience preferred.Lean experience (5S, Standard Work, problem solving, value stream mapping) preferred.Comfort with ERP systems and proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.Ability to engage from the shop floor to senior leadership; influence without authority; build trust and credibility.
