Job Title: CDL Class A Flatbed Driver – Moffett/Piggyback Delivery Driver
Location: Local Delivery Routes
Pay: $25/hr
• Overtime paid after 40 hours
• Double time paid for Saturday and Sunday work when required
Schedule:
• Monday – Friday
• Start time: 6:00 AM
• End time: Approximately 3:00 PM
• Average 50–60 hours per week
• Weekend work may be required based on business needs
Position Overview & Key Responsibilities:
• Drive 48’ flatbed trucks with both manual and automatic transmissions
• Deliver roofing supplies including shingles, insulation, slate, tile, cedar roofing materials, and tar
• Complete local delivery routes ranging from 100 – 250 miles daily
• Make approximately 1 – 6 delivery stops per day
• Secure loads by strapping and tarping materials when necessary due to weather conditions
• Unload materials using a Moffett/piggyback forklift
Qualifications/Requirements:
• Valid CDL Class A License required
• DOT Med Card
• Ability to operate both manual and automatic transmission flatbed trucks preferred
• Forklift and/or Moffett experience required
• Hazmat endorsement required or willingness to obtain within 90 days of employment
