Duties
- Perform comprehensive vehicle diagnostics using advanced automotive diagnostics tools and schematics
- Conduct repairs and maintenance on various vehicle systems including powertrain, transmission, electrical systems, and diesel engines
- Execute alignments, wheel balancing, and steering repairs to ensure optimal vehicle performance
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other mechanical tools to complete repairs efficiently
- Service and repair European vehicles with attention to manufacturer specifications and standards
- Interpret technical manuals and schematics to troubleshoot complex issues
- Conduct vehicle inspections and provide accurate auto estimating for repairs needed
- Perform ADAS calibrations and ensure proper functioning of advanced driver-assistance systems
- Maintain detailed records of repairs performed and communicate effectively with customers regarding vehicle status
- Ensure all work complies with safety standards and industry regulations
Requirements
- Proven experience as an automotive technician or mechanic, preferably in a dealership environment or service center
- Strong knowledge of automotive electrical systems, powertrain components, transmissions, and diesel engine repair
- Experience working with schematics, diagnostic software, and ADAS calibration tools
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other mechanical repair devices
- Excellent mechanical knowledge combined with the ability to perform vehicle maintenance efficiently
- Customer service skills with the ability to explain technical issues clearly to clients
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record is required
- Certification from an accredited automotive program or manufacturer-specific training is preferred
