Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Automotive Mechanic/Shop Foreman to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Domestic vehicles. possess strong mechanical aptitude, and be familiar with power tools and dealership operations. The Automotive Mechanic will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing various automotive issues, including but not limited to automotive electrical systems, powertrain components, and diesel engine repair and managing day to day operations of our automotive repair shop
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance tasks on vehicles.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical issues using power tools and specialized equipment.
- Conduct automotive diagnostics to identify problems accurately.
- Repair and replace automotive electrical systems as needed.
- Work on powertrain components such as engines, transmissions, and differentials.
- Perform welding tasks when necessary.
- Specialize in diesel engine repair for specific vehicles.
- Adhere to dealership standards for quality workmanship and customer service
Experience:
- Proven experience as an Automotive Mechanic or similar role.
- Proficiency in working with domestic vehicles is essential.
- Strong knowledge of automotive electrical systems and powertrain components.
- Ability to perform automotive diagnostics accurately.
- Experience in diesel engine repair is a plus.
- Familiarity with welding procedures.
