This Biologist will plan, organize and independently conduct complex experiments and assist in the interpretation and recommend changes to scientific protocols and procedures.
Compensation: $22.00 - 25.00 per hour

This Biologist will plan, organize and independently conduct complex experiments and assist in the interpretation and recommend changes to scientific protocols and procedures.
Compensation: $22.00 - 25.00 per hour
What You'll Do
- Work independently following instructions or scientific protocols
- Maintain infrastructure of laboratory and an organized, clean and safe working environment
- Ensure proper handling and disposal of biohazard materials and/or hazardous chemicals
- Collaborate and present results during team or project meetings
- Contribute to report writing and other publications.
- Prepare SOPs/working procedures
- Perform data analysis and propose design of next experiment
- Contribute to troubleshooting activities
- Work according to external and internal guidelines (e.g. SOPs, GxP, HSE, and AW)
- Mammalian cell culture and transfection, either suspension or adherent
- Aseptic Techniques
- Buffer and Media Prep
- 96-well plate-based cellular assays
- Cell banking
- Basic bacterial growth, isolation, and transformation
- RNA/DNA Extraction
- Optimization Studies
- Method and Assay Development
- BS in Biology, Microbiology, Biochemistry or a related science
- 0-2 years of related lab experience
- Mammalian Cell Culture experience
- RNA/DNA extraction experience, Preferred
- Media and Buffer preparation experience, Preferred
