Join us as aScientist2 in our Metals department and put your passion for science to work in our environmental testing laboratory. In this role,you'llconduct hands-on analysis within ourlaboratories, helping ensure the integrity and quality of environmental data thatimpactscommunities and ecosystems.
WhatYou'llDo
Work with instruments such as AA, ICP, ICP-MS and more
Analyzeenvironmental samples using established chemistry and biochemistry methodslooking for environmental contaminants
Review and interpret the results from the sample analysis
Accurately document procedures, observations, and results tomaintainhigh-quality, organized laboratory records
Clean,maintain, and calibrate laboratory instruments and equipment
WhatYou'llBring
Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, orother STEM related degrees- minimum of 24 credit hours in chemistry requiredAND 2 years of relevant working experience
OR Master's degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry or other STEM related degrees AND 1 year of relevant working experience
Ability to work effectively in a laboratory environment, including standing for extended periods, working around strong odors, and wearing required PPE (lab coat, safety glasses, gloves-all provided by Pace)
