Looking for a site safety manager for a steel erection project in Kemmerer, WY. Project is with a reputable steel erector.
Start date is immediately.
Familiar with Subpart R, CalOSHA 1710 Title 8
Local preferred
For outside of the area candidates, mileage reimbursement, meals and lodging reimbursement available.
Experience:
5 - 10 years Education: High School or Equivalent Certifications: Associate Safety Professional® (ASP®), Certified Safety Professional® (CSP®), Construction Health and Safety Technician® (CHST®), Graduate Safety Practitioner® (GSP®), Safety Management Specialist® (SMS®), Safety Trained Supervisor Construction® (STSC®)
Responsibilities:
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and codes, including OSHA standards
- Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution
- Manage site safety programs and ensure compliance with occupational health and safety regulations
- Implement risk management strategies to mitigate potential hazards and ensure worker safety
- Provide leadership and guidance to project teams, including training and development opportunities
- Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and ensure project deliverables meet their expectations
- Maintain accurate documentation of project activities, including budgets, schedules, and progress reports
Skills:
- Strong knowledge of construction safety management principles and practices
- Proficiency in Procore
- Excellent understanding of compliance management, including regulatory requirements for construction projects
- Knowledge of occupational health and safety standards (OSHA) and ability to implement effective safety programs
- Experience in risk management, including identifying potential risks and implementing mitigation strategies
- Ability to build effective relationships with contractors, subcontractors, and other stakeholders
- Familiarity with workers' compensation processes and ability to manage claims effectively
- Understanding of environmental health and safety (EHS) practices in the construction industry

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $50.00 - $55.00 per hour
