Requisition Summary
Peterbilt Motors Company, a PACCAR Company, has an opening for an Manufacturing Engineer Intern to add to our Industrial Engineering team in Denton, Texas.
Job Responsibilities
This position will be working on various projects and reports to include but not limited to:
Time Studies to gain support for future projects
Time studies needed for labor balancing and equipment optimization for in process projects
Engineering support for sustaining projects related to tooling and equipment
Engineering support for in process Capital Budget projects
Engineering support for continuous improvement projects
Ergonomics investigations
Connected Manufacturing activity support
Drone flights to support business needs
Required Qualifications
The candidate we seek will be currently enrolled in an Engineering program and have completed their sophomore year of college
Preferred Qualifications
The qualifications that are important to be successful in this position are as follows:
Excellent technical, verbal, written and presentations skills
Proven problem-solving skills are required
Knowledge of industrial tools, hand tools and power tools is preferred
Ability to work in a self-directed environment is preferred
Must be flexible to work portions of day and evening shift
Strong MS Office skills required. Specifically: Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
3.0 GPA or higher is preferred
