Pacagen (pacagen.com) is a house of brands focused on disrupting consumer industries through biotechnology-backed products built by our in-house research lab. Our first brand and products help with allergies to pets and dust that over 60,000 families are using in our second year on the market. Our second brand is launching in the summer of 2026.
We are a venture-funded startup and founded by experienced entrepreneurs who have built and sold nine-figure businesses before. We are backed by some of the best venture firms in the world (Maveron, Khosla Ventures, Mars).
About The Role
We are looking for a creator who lives and breathes storytelling. This role is far more than filming and editing. You will shape how the world sees Pacagen. You bring ideas to the table, turn them into concepts, and translate them into videos that spark emotion, curiosity, and trust. As our first in-house Content Creator, you will help define the visual identity of a biotech-backed consumer brand. You will collaborate closely with our co-founders, who previously built one of the fastest-growing science-backed beauty brands in the country. You will also get to shape how our affiliate and influencer community tells the Pacagen story and play a hands-on role in launching the creative vision for our second brand.

Responsibilities
- Lead and produce the majority of Pacagen’s short-form videos for Meta ads and organic social.
- Own the full production pipeline, from idea development to scripting, shooting, editing, and final delivery.
- Bring a strong creative point of view and test new concepts to drive performance.
- Film high-quality content with strong lighting, sound, and visual composition.
- Collaborate with the marketing, product, and science teams to translate insights into compelling narratives.
- Support growth goals by creating content that drives awareness and conversions.
- Support managing affiliates, influencers, and UGC creators for Pacagen and help with creative launches for our second brand.
Qualifications
- BA or BS in any field with a record of strong academic or professional achievement.
- Proven skill across the full lifecycle of short-form content creation.
- Strong understanding of live recording, lighting, sound, and on-set fundamentals.
- Excellent editing skills.
- Deep passion for video. You think in shots and transitions. You study trends. You care about pacing and storytelling.
- Hungry to learn, improve, and explore new creative ideas.
- High standards. You push work past “good enough” without being asked.
