What You'll Own
Financial Leadership
- Drive corporate accounting compliance with U.S. GAAP standards
- Oversee comprehensive financial reporting from daily operations to annual audits
- Manage treasury activities across US and international operations
- Lead business analysis, forecasting, and budgeting initiatives
- Champion financial and operational improvements that drive bottom-line results
- Optimize our ERP system and lead strategic expansions
- Strengthen internal controls across financial reporting, payroll, inventory, and manufacturing
- Leverage SQL databases to unlock data insights for key stakeholders
- Develop training programs that elevate team capabilities
- Lead and mentor a high-performing accounting team
- Create documentation and best practices that ensure consistent excellence
- Coach team members through goal-setting and professional development
- Manage international plant accounting activities and ensure global compliance
The Essentials
- Active CPA certification (non-negotiable)
- Bachelor's/Master's in Accounting or Finance
- 8-10 years of progressively responsible experience in an accounting management role
- Deep understanding of U.S. GAAP in manufacturing environments
- Advanced Excel skills including Power Pivot and financial modeling
- SQL query proficiency for data extraction and analysis
- ERP system expertise (SAP, Oracle, Epicor, Visual Mfg, or D365 preferred)
- Experience with BI tools (Qlikview, Power Query, Tableau) is a plus
- Strategic thinker who can operate at both 30,000-foot and ground level
- Excellent communication skills with ability to translate complex financial concepts
- Team player who thrives in collaborative environments
- Problem-solver who brings judgment and asks the right questions
