What are the responsibilities and job description for the Project Engineer position at PAC Electric Co., Inc.?
Position: Honolulu based electrical construction firm is seeking a motivated individual for a full-time project engineer position.
Responsibilities:
- Bidding and Estimating.
- Assisting in coordinating and scheduling construction activities.
- Monitoring and reporting of construction progress.
- Identification, tracking, and resolution of various issues.
- Resolving deficiencies and other quality issues.
- Maintaining safety documents, records, and related issues.
- Preparation, maintenance, and review of project documents.
- Maintenance of record and as-built drawings and changes tracking.
- Ensuring conformity with plans, specifications, contract document, applicable local, state and federal regulatory requirements, and construction standards.
Required Education and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering/science preferred.
- Strong computer skills.
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Critical thinker and good listener.
- Organized and being able to manage multiple priorities/tasks.
- Self-motivated, conscientious, positive attitude, and a team player.
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
- Ability to effectively work both independently and in a team environment.
- A valid Hawaii driver’s license.
- Legal Authorization To work in the United State.
- Ability to read and understand plans and specifications, preferred.
- 2 to 3 years of experience in construction or engineering preferred but not required. Entry Level is acceptable.

Full-time position, Monday thru Friday, weekend and night work as needed. Starting compensation of $70,000 annually, commensurate with skills, experience, and education.
