Overview
Pac-Dent is seeking a reliable and proactive Maintenance Technician to support our facility operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing basic maintenance on equipment and building essentials while ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency. You will collaborate with mechanics and other team members to complete projects and ensure equipment runs smoothly across all shifts.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance on equipment and building systems
- Assist mechanics with major repair projects
- Conduct and document required quality checks
- Communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth shift transitions
- Follow all safety policies and attend required safety training
- Report, resolve, or escalate equipment/facility issues promptly
- Attend all mandatory training sessions and meetings
- Adhere to company timekeeping and attendance policies
- Support other roles as needed, based on qualifications
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Collaborate with supervisors and other employees to solve problems
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Basic mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to follow safety and operational procedures
- Flexible to work in a fast-paced, hands-on environment
