This range represents the typical starting compensation for the position. Final compensation will be based on the selected candidate's experience, qualifications, skills, and overall alignment with the role's requirements.

Paape Companies is seeking a highly organized, customer-focused Service Dispatch & Parts/Warehouse Specialist to support our growing service operations team in Mankato.

In this role, you'll serve as the central point of coordination between customers, technicians, vendors, and internal teams. From scheduling service calls and supporting customers to managing inventory and warehouse operations, you'll help ensure our technicians have what they need to deliver exceptional service.

What You'll DoService Coordination & Customer Support

• Coordinate and schedule service, repair, installation, startup, and warranty work.
• Communicate with customers regarding schedules, updates, and service requests.
• Support technicians and subcontractors by ensuring work assignments are clearly communicated and efficiently organized.
• Monitor open work orders and help keep projects moving toward completion.
• Serve as a primary point of contact for customer inquiries and office communications.

Parts, Inventory & Warehouse Operations

• Manage inventory and coordinate material purchases for service operations.
• Receive, organize, and distribute parts and materials.
• Process warranty claims, returns, and vendor-related issues.
• Maintain company-owned tools and equipment.
• Support shipping, receiving, and warehouse activities.

Administrative Support

• Assist with service proposals, maintenance agreements, and related documentation.
• Process completed work orders and support operational and accounting functions.
• Contribute ideas and improvements that help the team work more efficiently.

What We're Looking ForRequired Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft 365 applications
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds safely
• Forklift certification, or ability to obtain certification
• DOT medical card, or ability to obtain

Preferred Qualifications

• Associate degree
• Experience in dispatching, customer service, logistics, inventory management, warehouse operations, construction, HVAC, or related industries
• Experience using service management or scheduling software
