Responsibilities
- Conduct mental health assessments and develop treatment plans
- Provide support to individuals experiencing emotional distress
- Offer counseling services focusing on depression, anxiety, gender issues, PTSD care, grief counseling, and behavioral therapy
- Utilize cognitive behavioral therapy techniques to assist clients in managing their mental health
- Maintain accurate medical documentation and records of patient progress
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care for clients
Requirements
- Proven experience in mental health counseling
- Strong knowledge of clinical counseling techniques and behavioral therapy
- Familiarity with medical terminology and medical documentation practices
- PA License in clinical social work or clinical counseling
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for working with diverse populations
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $45.00 - $90.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
